Some time back, Mel shared with me the DailyOm. My first reaction was "oy, not another daily newsletter", but I've since learned to love reading the messages. They've become a valuable mental tool in helping me to preserve a healthy perspective on all the craziness of life.
Here's an excerpt from recent Om that encourages us to take pause and carefully reflect on what is draining our energies whenever we are feeling run down, and [then] Recharging Your Batteries:
"In time, you might notice that the reasons you feel run down have less to do with how much you are doing and more to do with the fact that in your heart, you would rather be doing something else entirely. From now on, try and listen to what your heart really wants."
I liked it so much I edited down to a tweet =D.
